Every granite slab has its own character
Granite is natural stone. Two slabs sold under the same color name can differ, and a small sample may not show the full movement of the material. View the actual slab whenever possible and discuss how the pattern will sit in your kitchen.
Choose granite for the whole room
Consider your cabinet finish, flooring, lighting and backsplash together. A lively stone pattern can anchor a simpler cabinet palette, while a more restrained slab can work with decorative cabinetry. Compare samples in both daylight and the room’s normal lighting.
Kitchen islands, dimensions and seams
The size of a slab and the route into your home can limit the size of a one-piece countertop. Sink openings, long runs and changes in direction also influence seam planning. We review layout and installation requirements before confirming the fabrication plan.
- Bring rough countertop dimensions, including any island.
- Discuss edge profiles and seating overhangs.
- Confirm sinks, cooktops and faucet-hole requirements.
Fabrication and fitting by our local team
After material selection and final measurement, we prepare the granite for your layout. Work may include cutting, edge finishing, cutouts and seam preparation, followed by delivery, fitting and final finishing.
Caring for the granite you choose
Use a stone-safe cleaner or the cleaning method recommended for your specific surface. Blot spills, use cutting boards and protect against hot cookware. Sealing needs vary with the stone and finish; ask for guidance on your selected slab rather than assuming every granite needs the same schedule.
